Training & Development

Whether one-on-one or in a group, training can be a cost-effective way for an individual and/or employees of an organization to enhance their soft skills, and/or adaptation to changing roles, and/or systems.

Small Business Owners: The expertise that is the driving engine of most small business endeavors, is referred to as that entrepreneur’s core skill set;  the knowledge and/or ability they possess that gives their business endeavor a competitive edge.  However, without the soft skills required to support their core skill set, a business endeavor can, and usually does, fail.  Business Pipeline can provide the soft-skills needed to succeed through a process referred to as just-in-time-learning. This can be done on-site or by telephone (or email) and is a cost-effective method to development one’s own soft skills, or the skills to learn to identify, select and acquire the expertise of others to support your efforts.

Organizations: Corporate executives, management teams, and support staff can all benefit from the same leadership, communication, behavioral, and image enhancement skills that Business Pipeline provides. Through newly acquired interpersonal soft skills and knowledge, employees typically develop more confidence and pride in their ability to work successfully with customers, vendors, team members, and staff ; it’s an infectious attitude.

On-site Development of your employees [in soft skills] adds an exponential value to your organization. While a receptionist certainly knows how to speak, he/she may not posses the soft-skills necessary for each interaction to be an opportunity to enhance the Company’s image; every employee should be contributing to the customer service and sales support effort.  By bringing a trainer on-site to hold a private course, you can get a curriculum customized to fit your objectives; hold the training at the time and location of your choosing, and lower your cost-per-seat for open-enrollment courses and even out-of-town conferences. We’ll help optimize your employee’s time and company money to gain the most effective training in the shortest amount of time.

INSTRUCTIONAL METHODS:

Our development courses are highly participatory because our formats involve workshops, but emphasize individual sessions [where the instructor shadows the employee through their day]. They’ll have an opportunity to explore issues and practice skills during individual exercises and real-time situations.

Business environments change can change quickly, and outside help is often required to deliver the necessary knowledge in real time. “Just in time” learning is especially powerful as employees learn by hands-on doing, rather than sit-and-listen. This approach utilizes coaching techniques in addition to just advisory consulting, and tends to unleash the full potential of the employee; they become more confident in their own ability, which in turn stimulates others around them.

For an organizations where a classroom approach fits better into the culture of that workplace, we can utilize that format as well, and tend to mix and match according to the situation.  Many of our soft-skills courses come with hand-out material that the employees can refer back to time and time again.

A one-time license fee is charged by Business Pipeline that provides your organization internal rights to use our copyrighted material. Our senior course developers are available to assist you in making the appropriate customization to the courses. You may use your own staff to present the course material, or utilize one of our experienced senior trainers.
